So according to a study conducted on 2,500 respondents when asked what which can make them happier.
In between these two options, a job paying £ 50,000 or approximately Rp618 million, with hours of sleep 7.5 hours per day and "reasonable", or pay 90,000 pounds or approximately Rp1, 11 billion, but with hours of rest which is not unusual for only six hours per day.
As a result, more respondents chose the second job even though they knew it would make them less happy. Similarly, as quoted Dailymail on Saturday (27/08/2011).
As for the motivation to choose a higher-income jobs because they want to make the family happier. While others recognize more money making better social status. The study will be published in the American Economic Review.
