What is a Heart Attack?
A heart attack occurs when blood flow to a section of heart muscle is blocked. If blood flow can not be repaired quickly, part of the heart will be damaged from lack of oxygen and can lead to death.
Heart attack is a major killer of both men and women. But thankfully, now many ways of healing the heart attack that could save lives and prevent disability. Treatment is very effective if started within 1 hour after symptom onset.
Heart attacks often occur due to a condition commonly called Coronary Artery Disease (CAD). In the state of CAD, a set of fat called plaque accumulated over the years on the inside of the coronary arteries (the arteries that supply blood and oxygen to the heart). Eventually, plaque area was piled up and blocking blood flow.

During a heart attack, if the obstruction in the coronary arteries are not in care as soon as possible, the heart muscle will begin to die and be replaced by scars. Damage to the heart is not very visible, but will be a long-standing problem.
Some problems that can be associated with heart attack is heart failure and life-threatening arrhythmias (abnormal heartbeat). Congestive heart failure is a condition where the heart can not pump enough blood throughout the body.
Quick action against the signs of a heart attack would save lives and reduce danger to your heart. Treatment is very effective when started within one hour of symptom onset was detected.
